In the world of binge watching so many great stories fall through the cracks. Especially as original content giant netflix goes up against originals from companies like Amazon. One such gem that I almost missed is The Last Tycoon on Amazon prime. It’s almost worth paying prime just for this one benefit! The script is amazing, the historical background so interesting. I can never resist a story set in nazi times. It’s my weak spot. The acting is wonderful, the story plot twists poignant, stressful and sad. I was hoping for a happily ever after and instead got a rude awakening. So glad I caught this one before I missed my chance. Hear hear for the “little studio that could”. And I don’t just mean Brady-American.
